This site is owned and operated by the Cosme Law Offices, PLLC (“Law Office”). The site is intended to provide public information about selected topics in the Social Security disability program. The site information is provided for general use and does not create an attorney-client or representative-client relationship with the Law Office, or with any of the listed lawyers or affiliates. Submission of information through our web pages does not constitute, initiate, or create, in any manner, an attorney-client or representatve-client relationship. E-mail, message boards, blogs, chats, telephone calls, mail, and faxes are not safe and secured means of sharing your communications. Online or electronic information sent to us by you are unsecured and may not be confidential. DO NOT PROVIDE A SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER OR DATE OF BIRTH. A disability specialist or intake coordinator will reply to your inquiry by return e-mail or phone, if at all. Do not wait for an appointment if your deadline for filing an appeal is near. File your appeal immediately to preserve your rights - You only have 60-days from the date of the unfavorable notice.

This site contains Social Security disability information that is intended, but is not guaranteed, to be correct and current. Disability laws and rules change frequently. The Law Office is not responsible for the contents or availability of any linked web sites. We provide these links as a convenience to the public. You may provide links to this site, but you cannot remove or obscure, by framing or otherwise, copyright or trademark notices. You must notify the Law Office of linking by sending an e-mail to webmaster@ssadisability.net and must discontinue linking if notified to do so.  

The only way to become a client of the Law Office is through a mutually signed written fee agreement. If the Law Office agrees to become your representative, you must also sign and complete the Appointment of Representative form. Neither by accessing this site or by reviewing its contents has an attorney-client relationship been created; nor nothing contained in this site shall constitute the giving or rendering of legal advice, or be construed as a legal opinion, or guarantee of a particular resolution of a legal problem. The Social Security Act permits non-attorneys to represent claimants before the Social Security Administration - if you do not live in Arizona or Georgia, we may not be able to represent you in federal court, but we can represent you with the initial application, requests for reconsideration, requests for an administrative hearing and appeals to the Appeal Council. The Law Office provides information as a public service, and is not intended to be a substitute for competent legal counsel. Under no circumstances should you make legal decisions based upon the information provided on this site.
